Oh, shoot, that’s no butterfly…!
D: Yikes!

Everyone has their own heroic backstory.

It’s literally an online, solo boardgame, ma dude.
Just thought I’d try to help the community out, once in a while…

It really is quite special!
That said, speaking as a casual… I tend to agree with others that basic gameboard is absolutely too big, by either one or two iterations, I’m not sure…

Good lord, that’s an amazing art piece, just on its own. oO
I mean, sssometimes it’s a bit of mental thing, trying to figure out which to concentrate on, art or history?
Haha, good problems to have in life, amirite?

All dwellings compared to very few natural resources, amirite?
I fear they wouldn’t last long upon a siege…
(cue ingenious, underground resource complex!)

Also, I suspect… good to acknowledge that we’re all prey to that mental shortcoming.
Like, sometimes there’s the urge to completely banish subjective / cloudy thinking from our logic processes, I suppose, but at the same time… doesn’t that also kind of limit our understanding of ‘opposites?’ I.e., people who function so viscerally in terms of outrage, buttons pushed… and of course, the deep, dark, fundamental fear of the unknown…?
My theory is that it’s highly important to understand how other folks think, if that makes sense.

In a way that checks out, given that the book Sapiens proposed that the very earliest need and use for language involved the urge to gossip about others.
Let that sink in…

On top of the whole ‘absurdist halloween’ vibe, I love those ‘tree-like / stacked goblet’ symbols!

Fascinating.
And for those of us who… well.
Are there Cliff’s Notes?

Mother of pearl!
Eh, I don’t know how I feel about placing lovely ornamentals in to a casket, performing the appropriate ceremony, then later on, dipping back in and wearing those same ornamentals upon my body, for all to see. :D
(eh, don’t mind me, I might be a bit silly today)

I see it from PieFed.Social. I’d absolutely love it if we got more FV content here, such as NodeBB. :D
Some of the early ones are pretty awkward, but this is gold.
And I mean, specifically-- not “awkward” in that the joke was bad, uncreative or unfunny, but moreso that Larson was clearly still in that formative period, still with some rough edges to work out in his comics mastering.
It’s periods like these really, that I consistently find utterly fascinating. Particularly when the creator is pretty dang genius. Not unlike Groening and team behind Simpsons S1, if that makes sense.

1970, just for the rekkid.

Aw… 🙂

For a would-be world conqueror, Kang has this weird hangup about avoiding debt of any kind. (it goes back to his childhood / family life, yadda yadda)
The real reason he ran off with the pitcher is because his suit didn’t have any pockets, and he’s covering up by using standard bravado, there. Later, he’ll feel terribly guilty about the whole thing, and make it his mission to find the girl and repay her before conquering the world… but we haven’t gotten there, yet.

I couldn’t find much about this specific one, but decided to throw the reproduction issue out to GPT5.2, FWIW.

Grids and lightboxes are some classic art reproduction methods, so that makes a lot of sense. “Pricking and pouncing” seem to check out with some searching, and evidently they also used “pouncing wheels” to facilitate that, also classically used in transferring patterns in sewing.
This all kind of interests me particularly, as a part-time artist.

That’s incredible.
Would monks (or whoever) actually try to copy something like that, in producing more editions?
Egg wash for presentation, but taste buds for reality, is it not? Haha, I’ve always liked the idea of dandelion green salad, wine, etc.
Just that… there’s a lot dogs in France, and they especially like to poop on dandelions, for some reason.
Il doit y avoir une solution à tout cela !
