Verbatim still manufactures their DataLifePlus series of BD-Rs, and they are excellent. The market otherwise is pretty bleak… Ritek offers nothing that compares to the DLP discs.

Also, side note, Pioneer (once a leading manufacturer of BD burners), no longer makes them. LG is the lone surviving manufacturer I believe.

My Son broke his arm (type 3 fracture) last week. We went to our local ER and were seen immediately. We ended up spending 3 nights in hospital and having multiple surgeries to pin and correct the break. He’s on a 6 week care plan with scheduled appointments with a specialist team.

Want to guess how much it cost us? $0 (or 1.5% bracketed tax of my income per year) b-b-but that’s socialism!!

lol. Okay I’ll bite. So, hypothetically, antidepressants are no better than a placebo; I’ve been on almost every class of them over the last 5 years, trying to find a good fit. SSRIs, SNRIs, Tricyclics, MAOIs, SMS/MSAs.

Some (Tricyclics) worked extremely well, but they caused liver issues, so I had to quit them. Others, like MAOIs caused immediate and life threatening reactions in the form of bradycardia and hypertension.

I’m finally settled on a class that works well and doesn’t cause horrible side effects (SMS). There is no way in hell a placebo could have put my body through the hell I’ve experienced trialling all of these drugs.

Humans evolved being social. Hunting and gathering food, protecting the tribe from predators, raising the young. Not everyone needs or wants friends, but social inclusion is hardwired into our brains.

Maybe using the sugar free version and they have an intolerance to the sweeteners? The sugar free version wrecks my guts, but no worries with the normal type.

That’s pretty unnerving. Where I live (Australia), we get snakes and frogs in the toilet during summer. Thankfully I’ve never had a snake in mine, just cute tree frogs. Though, having a frog jump into your crack is quite a shock.
