“I genuinely cannot believe that a gay character on a TV show in 2026 can cause this much commotion. Y’all, like, I thought… I don’t know what I thought. Like, y’all gotta understand, I live in New York City, right? So you could be purple, in Brooklyn, and nobody cares. Nobody gives a ****. You know what I mean? So, like, when I come to the internet, and I see, like, all of these feathers being ruffled… it’s jarring, but, nevertheless, I guess it signals that there’s more work to do, so, yeah, uh, anyways, let’s talk about Kyle kissing Jay-Den in episode seven, y’all.”

OP wants one that isn’t heavily defederated.

Any pointers where to begin?

An original personal game review? Where am I? Some kind of social media platform created to facilitate human interaction?
Thanks OP!

You want a place full of radicals that other people can’t defederate from? What you want is Twitter.

The Xeelee series is pretty great if you’re looking for another multi-book commitment

not really the fediverse if its not federated is it

If you want something you don’t have to fuss over, that’s very stable (but also gets frequent updates), and “just works” with most games? Bazzite is your answer.

I’m with you. Felt very normal for twenty somethings.

I really don’t think we were meant to interpret the advice of “be a dick” literally. People with social anxiety often feel like they’re being a dick when others just see confidence and playful teasing.
I interpreted his lesson to stop being afraid of how others perceive him, which is a recurring theme of this series.

I thought this episode was the sort of comfortable, regular-ass side quest character-development stories the fans are always clamoring for. Honestly surprised to see the largely negative reaction here.

Jeri Ryan made a Mastodon account during the great Twitter migration but sadly doesn’t seem to be using it much these days.
