born a man, yeah, yeah, yeah. You don’t want to say she’s a woman. We get it.
Listen, it’s simple. She is a woman. End of story. Oh, but she sexually assaulted women before. Yeah, okay. So what? In women’s prisons, you will find some women that are there because they sexually assaulted other women. We don’t lock them up in a man’s prison. Same, if a man sexually assaults another man, he is not going to be locked up in a woman’s prison.
The only reason why we are having these kinds of conversation is because she is trans. It’s just transphobia. And yeah, this person did some fucked up things, but guess what? Trans people can do fucked up things as well, whoopty-doo. Shocker. Trans people, despite this common denomination, are people first, trans second.
We know what happens to trans women in men’s prisons. She is a woman. She has nothing to do there. She should be in a woman’s prison, end of story.
Corrections officials cite Cooper’s risk to reoffend if transferred to an all-women’s jail and history of “obsessive attachments” to female prison staff.
Thought it was interesting the point about obsessive attachments to female prison staff.
I do think it helps that she’s had bottom surgery (assuming it’s a vaginoplasty), but it doesn’t require a penis to sexually harass or assault someone. Still, I don’t think she belongs in a male prison either way.
Here’s a thought. Maybe prison guards can do what they’re paid to do and prevent inmates from assaulting each other.
Oh no that would be too radical, next you will be demanding they rehabilitate prisoners instead of exploit them like some sort of peace loving hippy.

A woman who is a sexual assault perpetrator is still a woman. Its not hard.
