There are two main issues with incest: 1) offspring, which should be avoided unless you check the embryos for issues and discard any that would have health problems due to inbreeding, and 2) the possible existence of power dynamics that might make consent too questionable to be acceptable.

Two sufficiently mature (I think this excludes about 90% of the population, but that’s probably my cynicism talking) adults, who have the means to live independently (so no dangerous power dynamics), and at least one of which is naturally or artificially sterile (or who physically can’t have children for other reasons, for instance due to having incompatible genitals), sure, go ahead, have fun.

Otherwise, there’s too much risk of harming one or both of the participants, or their potential offspring.

Given the current RAM prices anything less than $2,000 would almost certainly be selling it at a loss, or as a kit without RAM, so I expect Valve will just have to cancel it.

The fact that they went with “Trump broke international law” instead of “America’s unilateral actions validate our unilateral actions” gives me some hope (for lack of a better word) that they’re going for a diplomatic / economic victory by trying to take the vacated US place as “leader of the free world” instead of going full Trump/Putin on a world that’s already got enough shit to deal with.

The end point is still the same, of course, and I’m pretty sure it’s not a very good one from an European citizen’s point of view, but at least this would take longer and be less violent overall, and might help defuse Putin and Trump.
