Denmark doesn’t need to worry because both medical ships the US can deploy are still in dry dock. Unless Alabama itself is moving towards Greenland, the ship is just not showing up.

That’s a good point. Let’s knock down a bunch of the city buildings to make more room for some lanes and then parking lots for the extra vehicles this will bring in. More cars always means more prosperity for the area, right? Right? Right!?!

We left the US. The lastest round of GOP fuckery is the third time my grants were cancelled in the span of 12 years. They’ve been nothing but detrimental to my ability to be an academic in the US, so fuck em. That’s who the people voted for, so I’ll go contribute somewhere that wants me.

Koležnik said her intention with the production had not been to make “liberal, petit bourgeois society in Europe feel good” around a consensus of condemning intolerance, but to leave them scared. “The next wave of fascism, there will not be monsters. There will be normal, nice people,” she said.
But that’s one of the oft overlooked aspects of fascism: it is done by the normal, nice people. It’s done by people who are crushed, hurt, afraid, and trying to survive. They’re told they can be powerful and hurt those hurting them. They’re given the go-ahead to pick an “other” to attack. They’re given a feeling of control by a uniform and a stick. A little power. Nothing real, just enough to attack a neighbor who is new or different in some way. It doesn’t matter who the fascist leaders pick, they’ll just go after whomever is convenient in the moment and it turns at least some of us against each other.
The rank and file of the SS were normal shopkeepers, workers, and common people who wanted to end the pain caused by dictatorship, rulers, and wealth hoarding in the world. The very people hoarding the wealth and causing the pain turn it into fascism to build their own power by turning the common people against each other.
The billionaires of the US are running out of things to steal within the US, so it’s time for them to try to steal everywhere else (even more than usual). This time, they’re going to do it to the EU using the US military and government. Follow Canada’s lead and put those elbows up.

Well, one option would be either Open or NetBSD. They both have Power PC architecture ports and come with compilers. It would not be cross compiling, but you could run native and compile the source there.

The vast majority of the paperwork they’re citing as the doctor limiting problem is due to onerous insurance and government rules designed to burn time and raise costs.
Single payer is going to make these doctors more efficient than any untried AI system. I’ve been in and around the AI+Healthcare world for decades now. Single Payer universal healthcare is the biggest easiest win for the people. After that, we can move onto your AI industry kickbacks.

Greenlanders find that they have allies with Red & White and Red, White, and Blue flags. Canada needs to be part of a North Atlantic EU sooner rather than later.

I just pulled out a spare laptop to try some new distros to help advise someone about their options. I installed a few and gauged how easy/simple it would be for each one in regards to their needs.
It wasn’t distro hopping in that I wasn’t really using them beyond testing, but it was checking out options, settings, and tools. In the end, they’ll have to decide on what works best for them.

How can you even fit it into a single chunk? You’ve got to set the chunk size big enough to have the room for the whole Redstone network. I made a spot with some simple logic gates (a flip flop and an xor gate for controls) and it took up a lot of volume for even something that simple.
Even just an ALU is going to be physically massive.

Brilliant.
I’d put it up there with the CPU emulator done in LaTeX.
Flameshot is a great screen grab tool. Been using it for years.

Widely used for delivery services. The local Wolt gig delivery people are mostly on fat tired electric bikes. With Wolt, you have to bring your own bike, so apparently it’s what people are investing in to do the work. The only real problem is speed and distracted riding (they’re usually on the phone while rolling around).

I moved from the US to the EU for many reasons. One of them is that the EU actually put rules in place to protect people here. Food, cars, products, health care, medicine… The list goes on.
My family is healthier, happier, and safer due to EU regulations. I’ll keep filling out paperwork and dealing with premium costs because our lives and health are worth it.
We definitely noticed the cheap tickets right now. We’re working on flying more of our kids out of the US to Europe to emigrate permanently as they finish school. It’s a great time to fly out.

WTF even is a Microsoft SlopC? Something that has hardware to speed up their AI deleting important files and sending your private data to hackers? I don’t think we need that fast-tracked, Windows 11 already does it well enough.
A great irony is that the photo from the article is of a bunch of non-starter homes. Those are all huge row houses. Where are the small homes?
