Is this going to get rid of leveled enemies and weapons? No? Then Ubi remains on my do not buy list.

I had no idea, why did I think he had passed? I swear I remember this.
Guess I’m just getting old.

At one of the no kings rallies, I feel something hit me in the back. Turn around to see a small girl running over to get the large Styrofoam sign that the wind had blown out of her hands.
She looks up saying “I’m sorry!”.
“It’s ok, I’m not a space shuttle, I can survive being hit by a foam block”.
Crickets.
Just finished my annual Far Cry 2 play through, and it was as chaotic and random as ever.

Gin, I’ll drink Malort before I touch gin

Pulled over on the highway in Chicago. This just when phones started being hot spots, and I got an emergency service call about a software glitch, had to write and upload a fix from my car.

I take great pride in my work. The results are appreciated by the whole company. I’m lucky that now I’m on a small team of good people, but that isn’t always the case.
I tend to ignore the dead weight when it’s there, because I know I’ll get my part done, and if I have to work extra to pick up the slack, I’m not shy to draw attention to it.
My whole chain of command knows what I do, and not being in management, dealing with lazy ineffective people isn’t my problem.
Focus on you, talk to management about the issues you face, but don’t point out others failures, just let it be implied.

Always felt the cosmic inflation theory was a place holder until we better understand the early universe.
For snowboarding and skateboarding I’ve always used the Clip by Sansa, works in any weather, pretty damned tough, and if I lose or break it, at $32 I just dont care.

Look up game mechanics and progression to see what style of char you want. 3rd person cover shooter w classes, squad mechanics, and RPG elements.
Avoid story and character spoilers as best you can.
Your save files carry over through the three games which was unique at the time and really ties the games together in a meaningful way.

Oh to play this series blind again, I envy you.
The parts are all good, especially with the remaster, but the sum of its parts is something really unique.
I love my work, and at times I work long hours, nights, weekends, to meet specific goals or when there is an emeegency.
That is however the exception, not the rule.
I need my day to day to be smooth, I need my blend of work from home, so that when the high energy bursts do happen, I can handle it.
The idea of working at crisis levels all the time as standard is just insane to me, and suggests bad time management and expecations.

Circumcising a child.
Lost a lot of cool old stuff in a fire a few years ago, so I’m guessing my original N64.

I was finishing testing one of the largest system I’ve built for our company, and a coworker puts zombo.com up on the giant screens. Haven’t had that good a laugh at work in a while. Should have realized it didnt use flash since our machines block flash.
Nice to know you can still do anything.

KCD is unique, personally I love it. In some ways it’s kind of the dark souls of first person RPG. The systems are at times a bit clunky, combat is hard, complex, and both you and your character need a lot of training to be profficient.
But that’s the fun of the game. Henry is a useless lump at the start, and you mold him in to what you want.
Personally, I love hardcore challenging single player games, and few in recent years match KCD.
I dont have a system to play KCD2 yet, but from everything I’ve seen, the developer doubled down and kept the majority of the systems in place, just adding scale and polish.
I’m sure the first one is on discount these days, and highly recommend it.

Once took a trip to Alaska to visit a friend. He was so excited to show me real mountain snowboarding, and boy did he have a surprise for me.
One night had a real good dump of snow, and he took me off trail. We’d been keeping it pretty mellow, with me being the more experienced rider, though only had done the midwest.
We rode into this mellow canyon, must have been a river bed or something, like a natural half pipe. Just got into a rhythm carving back and forth, following him, pushing higher and higher slashes on the walls.
Then, on one frontside wall, maybe 20 foot high, I look over my shoulder, and the world fell away. The whole thing dropped down into a steep wall that had to be 100 foot high. Powder up to my waist, almost in free fall, we ran down like bats out of hell.
When we hit the bottom I flopped down, completely covered in snow, and couldn’t stop laughing and grinning for a good 5 minutes.
I think the first one may be comparable, but for subsequent languages I think programming is much easier.
Granted, I only know one language that works with people, and have worked in dozens of programming languages over the years.
