  • Just from seeing the clip, it very clearly comes off as more sarcastic than a serious take. A tongue in cheek explanation for why people would go to the island for reasons other than pedophilia.

This is also coming from another clip where he said it was important to investigate everything in the files and not just release every name immediately since politicians and celebrities would have been there for other reasons. To paraphrase: He was the guy who knew everyone inviting you to his private island with a bunch of other rich people.

  • The issue is using white as the catch all term when in the eyes of a “super racist” it is not. Only the Germanic group counts, so Germans, English / some Scottish, and Scandinavian. Everyone else is something different, jews are either slavic or semitic and the Irish are Celtic.

I can’t speak for all of them, but Fuentes is supposedly White Hispanic and is more Christian Nationalist and normal racist, while Tate is a grifter who latches onto whatever combo of buzzwords gives him views. Ye is just rich and is positioning himself with the Christian Nationalists rather than Super Racists.

  • I think there are two fracture points that will make 2028 a bad year for the united right. Epstein and Israel. If the files are ever substantially released you could see mass shifts in votes this midterm, and a fracture of establishment Republicans and new wave Republicans riding on them being too young to be in the files.

Israel is the next breaking point, as the general public turns against Israel as a state, the blackmailed and bought politicians will be stuck in a sinking ship and farther right politicians will swoop in against them. Voters may also just vote third party instead of a bought out AIPAC politician.

  • Actually the current split is closer to 4 groups. Reagan Republicans, Tea Party Republicans, MAGA diehards, and Fuentes Right. The number of real MAGA diehards is difficult to determine but I think most of them are actually members of the other three groups pretending to be diehards to gain favor with the president.

With the president’s death you’re gonna see the diehards split into the Vance and the Eric / JR camp. The other three won’t support Vance or JR and put up other candidates. Or a total split of the party.

I think something similar is happening to Democrats with Mainline Dems and Social Democrats, but this will be more like the original Tea Party split than what the right is doing.

  • No, roulette is still betting against the house. A more apt comparison is poker, the house has nothing to do with the outcome or the game and has no stakes in the winner or loser when legal. This is why many will either take a percentage of the pot to recoop the cost of facilitating the game and dealer, about 2% I think, or have a membership fee. In many states poker only card houses or card clubs are completely legal.
