Could also be attributed to the fact that the games were on a deep discount during the Steam winter sale.
I use a Kobo and it’s great for two reasons - firstly I can get library books on it via Libby/Overdrive. Secondly I can get pirated books in the event my library doesn’t offer it. As a small disclaimer I’ll always buy a book I love after pirating to support the author.
Isn’t the “AI” boom making very little for the companies hawking it and making trillions for the hardware providers? I feel like it’s analogous to the people that sold shovels & pickaxes during the gold rush.
Good on you for calling it by the proper name
For looking at (with someone else wearing it) I choose hounskull. If I have to wear one I’m going to want to see so I’m picking the deeply uncool kettle.

And they will undoubtedly use this as an excuse to jack prices even further. It’s not enough to milk students dry on textbooks, food, lodging, parking, courses, etc.
I’m not in the US but I met my wife online, as did a few of my friends. The overall process of finding someone compatible took years though and it wasn’t very much fun. It’s probably worse now that dating apps are actively invested in keeping you single and swiping.
Nice to see it’s being addressed. Thanks for the reply and the link.
Have they fixed the failing ICCU issue? That’s what kept me from buying one of these.

You can bet on slow motion sequences with anachronistic music and a protagonist with infinitely thick plot armour.
We all roll our eyes at this but idiots lap it up. It worked in the States and it very well may work here too. PP is a piece of shit and he’s dangerous.

I would never buy an appliance with an internet connection.
My home came with (dumb) Samsung appliances and they’re miserable pieces of shit. I cannot recommend strongly enough to look elsewhere when you’re making an appliance purchase. No matter the cost difference it’s worth it, trust me.

Don’t buy things from Tim Horton’s. Only buy things from Canadian Tire when they’re on a deep discount aka a reasonable price, maybe 75-90% off. Their regular prices are fucked. These companies are not your friend, do not let them tickle that part of your brain that makes you proud to be Canadian. The more someone waves a flag in your face the more you should ignore what they’re saying.

Doug is a fucking idiot, that much is clear to anyone who isn’t a fucking idiot.
My city has been aggressively installing these cameras too, and while I don’t love that the money is mostly going to private companies I think they have an impact on slowing people down. Here’s an easy way to avoid being ticketed - when you enter an area that’s got these cameras, set your cruise control to the speed limit.
I know that road design is the best way to calm traffic but I have very little optimism that we’ll see that anytime soon.

I hung on to sync for probably too long (hoping for a return of the dev) then switched to Summit. It’s pretty good.
Not always! Sometimes it just means you can communicate with wolves.
