What’s the device called or where can I find the open sourced design? I wouldn’t mind giving up a few weekends making one.

I’m not sure what to do about distribution other than just handing them out for free, having them sign waivers, and getting funding from a charity or similar organization.

Im currently in school and trying to get into the prosthetic industry after I get my engineering degree. Any recommendations on projects that could help me flesh out my skills?

Don’t know if this helps since dokuwiki lets me link pages, but I have a main page where I just do a one paragraph description of every big thing in use.

each page has:

• an in depth description,
• how it’s set up,
• a list of features i use,
• how it connects to other services,
• and a miscellaneous for everything else

I’ll also add any notes in the misc section in case I need to reference them later. If a service is mentioned, I’ll create a page for it and link to it every time I mention it. That way nothing is more than a few clicks away and the documentation grows naturally as long as you don’t have any monolithic application. Example: (main -> Docker -> Project_Ozone_2 -> custom configurations Or main -> Joomla -> wysiwyg ->JCE Editor)

I also had a professor tell me to just write everything down first and then focus on formatting to find what kind of structure suits your needs best.

I just inherited my first codebase a few months ago. It’s like this everywhere and original developer was fired, so what should sometimes be a simple fix turns into a full day of finding what needs to change. Any recommendations on fixing/maintaining code like this or should I just make it the next person’s problem?

I use a CMS called Joomla. It’s for work, and although it was a hassle to get up and running, Its very easy to use. You can also add a wysiwyg editor called “JCE by widget factory unlimited” which I also use.

No, pretty much everyone I took it to said it would cost 300 to take a look at the motherboard and fix it, but 300 is close to the price of a new motherboard. I’m holding onto it in case I can snipe a working MacBook without a screen that’s compatible for cheap. Thanks for following up!

I unironically tried to boot it after freezing it, but I guess I could try booting it while inside the oven instead🤔
