Unfortunately he’s just proposing some weak-ass Moar Farmers Markets With a Side of Extra Cops instead of more effective solutions that are known to work, and he’s parroting Kroger’s BS line that “crime” was behind their decision to close the best stores in the area as a reason to funnel more money to the (already shiftless) SPD. His chief criticism of Wilson’s proposals is that they will take “years to implement”, like his own “proposed”, “planned”, or “dedicated” improvements have any more of a chance of seeing fruition…

I got a great deal on a 1950X setup due to a NewEgg sale, and it’s been a powerhouse for various “serious” tasks, but each individual core is pretty anemic and that does hurt it in a few games. If laptop cores are matching or exceeding that, I feel confident in sticking with AMD for the next little while.

Did you play Zero Dawn previously? How are you finding Forbidden West, play-wise? It feels “heavier” to me, somehow. Maybe I just got used to fully-upgraded Aloy in HZD…

I’m working on getting all the ending dialogues for Metal Slug Tactics right now. It’s a fun turn-based tactics take on the Metal Slug franchise with a dash of roguelike. The graphics maintain the series’ hand-animated aesthetic and the sprites are super-cute, but the most rewarding part is unlocking skills and weapons for each character to allow bigger and more ridiculous combo moves. Other than that, Stormworks, my “second job”.
