Marketing is society’s cancer.
When a company has a good product/idea, they grow organically. If I’m looking for something, it should be enough to have information available through manufacturers websites and customer opinions, there is ZERO need to shove ads down people’s throats, which usually translates onto overconsumption and buying the best marketed (not the optimal) product.
So yeah, fuck marketing in general, big corporations greed and their entitlement to control the web.

Michael Jones, 39, received a 27-month sentence, with the judge saying he could not be sure he was part of the gang that carried out the burglary, though he was found guilty of having carried out reconnaissance at the stately home preceding the crime.
That reconnaissance included trying out the facility a day before the theft, an experience he described to the court as “splendid.”
😂😂
Same! Keep up the good work!

Well, he made the cost of eggs one of his main campaign topics. He had absolute control over that.

Aren’t those browser settings and not user settings? I see your point and maybe those should be user settings, but saying that “Firefox on android keeps turning it’s Data Collection options on” is misleading

Really? Turned them off a long time ago, never seen it changing (checked now too just in case)
Everytime I see somebody systemically overworking and being proud of it, I think to myself: “how incompetent should he/she be to need to compensate that hard”

That’s the one, thanks! :)

I know exactly which TV show it is, and I neither can’t remember the title! I’ve been looking in iMDB all afternoon without any luck… 😭
I also remember a very specific detail, the prosecutor was new to town and had an ocular prosthetic because he was missing an eye
I see your point, but seems the same effort as a QR scan
Why is NFC needed in this case? Regardless of this being a potential security risk (which it is, but it’s not my point here), does it provide any additional value over a QR scan, which can easily store a URL or a contact information?
Depends on how it’s configured by the company. I’ve faced in the past the situation of having to login with the company email to be able to use the MFA with a propietary app, which meant I needed to enroll into the BYOD policy and it includes remote device management.
Ended up installing an emulator in the work laptop just for that purpose and left the company shortly after.

Haven’t seen them in any store yet, but looking at the traction that SMT had it would make sense to add them soon
Been using ghost commander for years, never had any issue, it’s available both in f-droid and google play
