What about the price? I had ROG phone 2 before I changed to red magic due to the massive price difference (1500 ROG 8 vs 800 Red magic 9).
It can have all the ‘coolest features ever’ but its not worth almost twice as much as the competitor when the processor is the same


Not any different than offshoring devs. Saves money short-term, cost savings look great, managers get promotions, and they move on from that garbage code base that was created

I was shocked how good Proton worked. Gaming has always been the reason I stuck around Windows until I finally got tired of monitoring my privacy settings.

We cant estimate how much effort it will take to fix or maintain it. That’s the problem
To you? Ok, sure. To many others including me? Nope, not worth 50% price increase.
