Would ADHD meds cause insomnia? I have no idea, I thought the drug would be out of your system by bedtime, although if you’re anything like me and can’t sleep because you looked in the direction of a bag of coffee after 1pm, I’d imagine it’s very possible it could affect your sleep. Alright it’s a bit far fetched but bear with me. Back in the olden days, people would use nails driven in a candle to measure a certain amount of time. As the candle melts, the nail would drop on a metal tray and make a sound.

So you’d need to get a candle of your choice, preferably a stick candle. Burn it for your ideal mediation time and measure by how much it melted away. Then get a nail, drive it into the candle, according to your measurement. Perhaps not too far in the candle, enough for the nail to stay put but shallow enough to drop easily when the wax gets liquid around it. Pop the candle on some metal tray, light it, take a deep breath and close your eyes. When you hear a clang then you’re done. But keep going if you are enjoying it!

Nope, nothing at all. To be honest it got caught at a very early stage before I could develop any neuropathy or anything but honestly apart from the tiredness of having to get up 3 times a night I did not feel a thing.

It all started in 2022 for me, when my 10,000 trips to the toilet a day peeing habit impeded my sleep. A quick trip to the gp and a stick in a sample later, I was told, yep, it’s the 'beetus. I pee like a normal human being now. But gosh that was exhausting. I was borderline pre-diabetic for a while before that.
