Recreating scientific studies that have been funded by large corporations is very difficult and disproving or countering any findings are less common because to apply the scientific method properly is beyond skill and know how, it’s down to money.

Think results based for the end user and not technically.

How to tell this is fake:

Cultural tells - “mate” used more than once in a sentence with wrong tone. The lack of the word “fella” used where “bloke” is used instead and out of place culturally. No flies in the eyes or mouth.

Digital tells - lip sync is shithouse. Occlusion is shithouse. Depth between objects breaks physics of the actions in the frame. Wrinkles don’t wrinkle around the eyes they squash. Bottom teeth pop in and out and tongue goes missing.

General slop tells - too much gesticulation of the hands, every word is emphasised by a hand action. Mouth shapes enunciate way too much with the same shit eating grin all AI slop has. AI still can’t do hands in motion and relies heavily on motion blur when it’s not warranted.

A programmer does not primarily write code; rather, he primarily writes to another programmer about his problem solution. The understanding of this fact is a final step in his maturation as a technician.

I always saw commenting code as writing to my future self initially, but now in a team that’s evolved to writing to my future self and referencing the comments when explaining it to people that ignore them.
