Det är väl inte loken som det oftast blir problem med, utan ledningar, växlar, och signaler. Ånglok behöver inga ledningar, och signaler och växlar hanterades på plats av operatörer fram tills att det introducerades centralstyrning. Och jag skulle gissa att en operatör på plats kan snabbare lösa en simpel signal eller frusen växel än att behöva skicka ut en tekniker.

Lösningen är ju att tag i underhållet så att signaler och växlar inte havererar, och skydda ledningar från träd. Antagligen billigare än att stationera operatörer vid varje växelnav och signalsträcka.

Kan inte svara på frekvent användning, då jag inte använder mobilen mycket själv annat än bankid/ringa folk, men för mig så klarar den sig 2-3 dagar.

No indication of it, other than them concluding the story now. On the other hand they resolved the bot crisis that was plaguing the game a while back, though no major updates other than the regular seasonal updates (such as Smissmas right now).

There is the passwd LDAP backend, not sure if it works for full auth though.

I’m aware that this isn’t how DNS works, but I’d imagine it is possible to have a DNS server that when it receives a query from the internet looks at the requested domain and translates it to an internal domain and in turn query that one, returning the result without revealing the internal domain. Something like a ALIAS virtual record provided by some services (but wont work against a internal DNS).

As for Traefik acting as a reverse proxy for internal network addresses, yeah that’s the way it works. However in this case I have several instances of Traefik running on a subset of IP-addresses on a public subnet. So essentially we want to loadbalance several Traefik loadbalancers using DNS.

Ifall någon skulle söka med de lönerna, vilket från vad jag förstår de inte gör. Det är svårt att locka arbetskraft upp till norrbotten. Det största slöseriet är ju dock alltid när de istället för att anställa egen personal tar in bemanningsföretag som tar dubbel/trippel timlön. Ser nästan hellre såna här lösningar då.
