On your video page, try manually restarting the transcoding. There are two options on the three dots. A lot of my videos fail during the first attempt but then work just fine when I start one or the other transcoding manually. With longer videos, the Web Video version tends to work better.

That’s someone filming a monitor. The camera is fixed and doesn’t follow the people.

For Linux there’s puddletag, which is very similar to mp3tag
Yes, apparently they remove features if you don’t use synology-branded drives.
Having a custom domain for email also makes it a lot easier to move email provider in the future if you want/need to since your addresses can stay the same as long as the new provider supports catch-all for all the aliases.

i did just that a few minutes ago. closed my account and removed my one Plugin from the repo. if the statistics in wordpress.org are correct it was used by ~20k sites (though that number is hard to believe and seemed way too large for the usw case for a long time). It can still be found in github but will no longer get any updates since I haven’t used wordpress myself for quite some time and with the current shitstorm i don’t see a reason to invest any time in it.
we can decide ourselfs if we want mac, windows or ubuntu (no other distro allowed). Our code runs in docker containers and except for the IDE our tools are web-based for the most part anyway, so it doesn’t really matter which OS you use. though I heard there were quite a few issues with docker and Mac when the first M-chip Macs were used. it’s a software company in Germany with ~150 people.

This and the online-only are the reasons I no longer use onshape. While I don’t mind for a majority of my stuff to be public it just doesn’t make sense for everything and then you can’t even use it e.g on longer train rides without internet.
For me it’s the medium link. Nothing worse than clicking on a link on mobile just to see that paywall. On desktop I automatically redirect to an alternative fronted but that doesn’t work in the app.
There’s also headscale, which is an open source backend for tailscale for self hosting.
