I am glad that the rules in Germany are different. If you park your car in a public space, you need to check on a regular basis if it is still legally parked. If you leave the country for a while, you either can’t park your car in a public space or you need to ask someone to check your car for you and park it somewhere else, if there is a reason for it.

Meine Situation am Dienstag in einer 30er Zone:

Man konnte ihn schon von weitem hören und beim Umdrehen hab ich auch gesehen, wie er ungebremst über eine Kreuzung gebrettert ist. Die Querstraßen sind da nicht einsehbar, wäre jemand von rechts gekommen, hätte er ihm locker die Vorfahrt genommen.

Hab ihm dafür den Scheibenwischer gezeigt, da hat er tatsächlich sein schon begonnenes Überholmaneuver abgebrochen und ist hinter mir geblieben.

Was mich aber am meisten gestört hat, ist nicht, dass er mich dabei gefährdet hat. Sondern, dass die Situation um 07:55 Uhr 200m von einer Grundschule entfernt stattgefunden hat, bei der um 08:00 Uhr Schulbeginn ist. Da hätte auch jederzeit ein kleines Kind auf die Straße laufen können, weil es spät dran ist.

I think using three digits for the month is a bit confusing. :)

I don’t like DD-MM-YYYY. I think it should be DD.MM.YYYY. This way you can distinguish between the date formats in those cases where people only use two digits for the year. Hyphen as a seperator means year in front, a dot means year at the end. And a slash implies the bad format.
