I don’t have time for it. I live so far from my friends that it takes me an hour+ if I want to hang out.
My house is always dirty, I don’t have the will to clean.
People are more anxious and have less common friends (low clustering coefficient).

My internal model of OpenAI is that its a shady business. They are in the industry of stealing data and information and transforming it into a service. With all of the drama surrounding their non-profit transition, and the fact that Altman was kicked out for essentially lying; I’m not surprised that figures and numbers leaked and reported to not line up.
Nevertheless, I kinda hope that AI inference continues to get cheaper. Like it or not, a lot of AI companies are offering their services at a discount in a feeble attempt to get a larger share of the market. This incentives them to basically lie about their capabilities, overpromice and under deliver. If the AI bubble we’re to pop it would be nice if the fallout weren’t as bad, and I think lower inference cost would help with that.
Agreed. Doesn’t sound very calculating at all, unless that was actually part of an elaborate facade.

Comrade, consider your days numbered.

Absolutely fucking agree.
Except when it comes to landlords. Somehow those are always bad.

Admin propaganda…

Yeah, it’s naive. I’ve left out all the nuance and said something from the bottom of my heart.
I think it’s unfair that the older generation climbed the ladder and pulled it up with them.
I think there’s a lot of reasons why we shouldn’t implement policies that cause housing prices to crash.
I want houses to be affordable and people not to own more than one.

That’s the joke.

What key on your keyboard did you press to write out the Unicode character U+2014, the em-dash several times?

Was this written by an LLM?

LOL. If you have to buy your customers to get them to use your product, maybe you aren’t offering a good product to begin with.
Specifically, the pockets come from the NCOSE (National Center on Sexual Exploitation), who’s purpose is to quote, “defend human dignity”.
I kinda feel like defending human dignity is not having your son involved in a lawsuit against porn sites.

Yes… But technically you do have other legal obligations like reporting and certain data collection, like who owns what IP for example.

I get what you are saying. But adding a new form of data input into the system would probably function to improve performance, not decrease it. I don’t think it makes sense to not add LIDAR into Teslas.
All of this feels like Elon was asked to justify not putting a rather expensive (at the time) set of sensors into the Teslas, and he just doubles down and says that they will compensate with software.
I hate Epstein as much as the next guy, but do we trust Drop Site News as a primary source?
