  • It’s possible. I’m an avid milk drinker in the US and can’t recall ever having seen milk without the rBST free label. You might have to buy like dollar store milk or something to find it haha. Sounds like maybe 10-20% of US milk might have rBST.

Interestingly it is not illegal to import milk produced with rBST into Canada and Google says there are no specific labeling requirements for imported milk. But that’s been a thing since 2015 apparently.

So good news everyone, you may have already been drinking hormone and antibiotic infected milk already for the last 10 years in Canada if you haven’t checked the label. TIL.

  • You might be taking too much. I used to take 3 mg semi regularly to help get to sleep quickly on weeknights, and I would sometimes be groggy in the mornings. One time I decided that I really needed to sleep so I took 6 mg and got the weird dreams and was super groggy the next day. I’ve cut back since then.

  • You ever looked into how much it costs to replace all the body panels on a car? It could be several thousand bucks. If you’re running a 2000s car, even if it’s well maintained, repairs could easily cost more than the value of the car.

Recently happened to a friend of mine. Got some hail damage that was too big and widespread to hammer out nicely so the panels needed to be replaced. Old car, nothing wrong with it other than hail damage. Insurance said it was totaled. You can still drive it but it required a special title or something, I forget exactly what.

  • In a perfect world you could get paid to automate stuff with AHK. I wonder if you could market yourself as an AHK consultant where you basically shadow someone’s job for a week and then start figuring out how to automate the tedious stuff.

Personally I like the functionality of AHK but I can’t stand the syntax compared to Python and C. I start with such great plans of what I want to automate but get sick of fighting with the language after about an hour and settle for something simple.
