Journalists love using AI as a source because itās a creative way of using the passive voice which sounds more neutral. Instead of attributing an action to a person like āElon Muskās Website Used for Generating CSAMā historically theyād use something passive, impersonal and vague like āVulgar Pictures Are Being Generated On Xā, but if youāre relatively informed you read past the phrasing and picture how Musk is accountable. Now journalists can use the active voice so it appears more tangible but pin in on AI to sound neutral and hold nobody accountable, which serves the status quo.

Indie games arenāt made in a vacuum then shipped off to publishers. Publishers help with playtesting, QA, translating, certification, and in many cases even marketing in the middle of development. Even by your definition itās not as clear cut as you think.

So you would call Half Life 2 and Alyx indie games? But any game published by Devolver Digital like Loop Hero or Gato Roboto arenāt indie despite having tiny budgets and tiny teams?
Thatās kind of a ridiculous definition. It makes way more sense to include criterias like team size and budget, however vague they are.

Iām colorblind so if my poop ever looked bloody I probably wouldnāt be able to tell. So thatās one use for a toilet camera I guess.

It just sounds like Italian B movie nonsense for the sake of being shocking. Not a hill Iād die on defending.

I think heās committing to the libertarian bit by doing this and keeping community notes. He truly only cares about himself.

Good news is itās flammable! Bad news is itās inside their appartement.

Those are great because they donāt change the nature of the game. You just adjust the difficulty of the self-imposed challenge. Itās still essentially the same experience. If you ruin the game for yourself by setting it too easy thatās on you.
When people say stuff like āI just want to explore Elden Ringā, thatās like watching behind-the-scenes content or looking at a concept art book of a movie without watching the movie. It can be enjoyable but itās not a complete experience, youāre missing the original context entirely. I wish people realized that.

I got Camelliaās album that just came out and that Iāve been playing on repeat. Probably the most expensive digital album Iāve ever bought so Iām glad itāll all go to the artist. Itās 17 tracks of J-core, speedcore, complextro if youāre into that. https://cametek.bandcamp.com/album/chimera-dragons

COVID fucked my tastebuds and ruined the taste of oranges for me. The price and boycotts certainly donāt help, but I wonder if my experience is a common thing.

You could make a yearās worth of articles titled āThing too expensive? Itās time for public thingā

Anyone remember Master X Master? It was a MOBA that had WASD controls as its only option, even had a jump (though it was mostly useless), it felt so much more intuitive than spamming click. I donāt think thatāll get me to try LoL again though.

āStagflationā is such a dumb portmanteau, when something is neither in inflation or deflation itās in stagnation. How can something be both stagnant and inflating? I looked it up and it was made up by a conservative to try to explain increase in prices while economic growth is stagnant. But thatās just capitalism working as intended, corporations trying to maximize profit by raising prices and firing workers. That money is not circulating or improving the economy.

Games arenāt developed in a silo, for example XDefiant shares its engine with The Division and probably back-end services with most other Ubisoft games, so releasing its code could expose vulnerabilities to be exploited in games that are still running. They could still be forced to release a closed source server application though.
Yeah I find that open world games are only as good as their sandbox capabilities.

If it forces people to stop financially supporting Musk it might actually be a net positive for the environment.

Thatās wrong, since speculative investment and money laundering are so intertwined with the pricing of art.

You can tuck wired headphones under your shirt if itās a problem, I still do that if I only have wired earbuds on me. Also Bluetooth headphones add a bit of lag which I find noticeable when playing games.
Ok but thatās just how the bird sounds in real life, thatās like saying cicada noises from Evangelion a haunting you through anime. imo a better example is the very specific and compressed bird sound in Ocarina of Time that can be heard in Glover and many other media.
