Woah, that looks pretty sweet. No, mine was definitely a lemmy post. I’ll have to look into this one since I actually stopped using my Amazfit band a while back.

I searched and couldn’t come across it again, sorry
I remember seeing someone mention wanting to set up a grafana dashboard from the data exported from gadget bridge. I’ll see if I can find it

3·3 months agoI think its moreso how these cameras don’t just use OCR based plate recognition, but build a profile on your car, you, and your habits. Which, as far as I’m aware, is the first time this has been automated and been so easily spread among others.
Also, I don’t think its a bad thing to get more people talking about this. The more people are aware, the better; as far as I’m concerned.
I just joined because it didn’t require an email to sign up. Not sure what else happens in this instance tbh.
Weird, no ads on Android for me

3·3 months agoNot 100%, but more than if I decided not to listen because I’m worried I’m not absorbing everything.
I wouldn’t listen to the War and Peace audiobook, but something like the Hardcore History podcast? Yeah, for sure.

2·3 months agoI guess this is why I like long form audio content so much, I can listen to it in the background and still get chores done.

RetroGaming@lemmy.world•Which game would you erase from your memory, in order to experience it fresh once again?English
3·3 months agoIt's still my favorite game. The ending hit me so hard; had me messed up for a while. I just started Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 in hopes of having a game hit me as hard as Nier: Automata did. spoiler :::
My main gripe is that replaying the story as 9s can get pretty slow, and the combat isn’t nearly as enjoyable.
Not home specific, but maybe Vikunja? It lets you have projects, and tasks due within those projects. I think its more tailored toward teams working on projecgaprojects though.

3·3 months agoAre you looking to obtain sheet music, or scan in your existing sheet music?
Indeed, other than being able to get the model running, having decent hardware is the next most important part.
3060 12gb is probably cheapest card to get, 3090 or other 24gb card if you can get it

Linux@lemmy.ml•Intel Compute Sticks - Making them useful (or fun)?
2·3 months agoI just bought one to use as a Magic Mirror dashboard. I can’t think of any other real use for them other than as dashboards.
I like the Volumio idea though. You can set up a Music Assistant container and get a whole home audio setup without having to run a bunch of speaker wire. At my old place I had an Apple TV airplay movie audio into the kitchen so you wouldn’t miss any dialogue while you ran into the kitchen.
Edit: Really specific hypothetical. If they’re powerful enough to run Kodi, and you have a travel homelab with Jellyfin/Plex, I wonder if they could serve as a travel streaming stick 🤔

Al principió el artículo menciona mi pensar; que es mejor hacerlo uno mismo. Toma mas esfuerzo, pero si te importa, es lo único que no tiene efecto negativo.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•In terms of wallet, keys, phone, etc, which pocket does each belong to in your jeans?
13·3 months agoIf I just have pants/shorts:
- Front Left: Phone. This is what I mainly hold my phone in, and dictates where everything else goes
- Front Right: Slim bifold wallet and keys.
- Rear pockets: Nothing. I don’t like the feeling of sitting on anything. It also might be needless anxiety, but I feel like I could be pick pocketed more easily if I had anything in my rear pockets.
If I’m wearing a sports coat, which isn’t often, I’ll put my phone in my right interior pocket, and my wallet and keys in my left interior pocket. Mostly since I can then reach in with my left hand to get my phone.
If I need to carry more items I’ll use a small satchel or something. All of this sounds convoluted, but makes sense in my head. Also, I don’t wear jeans, haven’t for years. They’re not very flattering from behind and they always manage to pull on my leg hairs somehow.

Grilled pork sandwich? Pork nuggets? Others mentioned pork wings and pork noodle soup.
Pork is good, but to say it bests chicken in every way is not a hill I would die on, or even attempt to climb.
