I am soooo high rn

I like Pokemon because wooper is cute and I like seeing the funny animals. Yes the world has a massive cognitive dissonance where the story is about becoming friends with Pokemon and the gameplay is about kidnapping and using them to fight. I don’t care. Every 10 year old has realised that about Pokemon.

I’m glad Pokemons monopoly is being challenged because they might have to actually try more than they did with SV but I want people to shut up about Palworld. It’s just ARK with Pokemon instead of dinosaurs. I should play ARK now I think about it

I did not one but TWO drawings today! I drew Choso from Jujutsu Kaisen and Reze from Chainsaw Man. I’ve been getting much better at my anatomy and proportions, usually if something looks wrong I can figure out why and change it just by thinking about what a body should look like. I still have a long way to go, I’ve never used colour and not done much realistic drawing, and landscapes are a complete mystery to me, but I’ve been drawing for about 8 months now and am very proud of how far I’ve come.

Probably in the USA people stopped caring about whether or not you were Irish some time after the 1940s. In the UK anti-irish racism continued throughout the troubles well into the 90s, and there are still some English people who have stuck with the good old tradition of hating Irish people (though much less now).

Ireland is one of the most expensive places in the world but the only jobs that can really keep up with increasing prices of everything are like, American tech companies and pharmaceuticals. Mom Can’t Cook is a podcast I’ve been addicted to for the past year. It’s two British guys reviewing and dunking on Disney Channel Original Movies, and they’re really funny. They’re also vaguely leftist, they don’t talk politics much but they’re progressive on gender and sexuality and stuff.

They describe the podcast as “we watched all the DCOMs over lockdown and now we need an excuse to talk about them” and I really need someone else to listen to the podcast so I have an excuse to talk about it

Yes definitely, the middle part of Stardust Crusaders is some of the worst of JoJo. Part 4 is a lot more light hearted and mostly better (I don’t much like the first third but most people do). Part 5 and 6 have some of the best fights and part 7 is just straight up the best, it’s JoJo without all of the bullshit that drags it down. The politics in part 7 are a complete 180 from the days of Nazis being the food guys, the main villain is the president yof the USA and his stand is basically an allegory for imperialism. Also actual literal Jesus Christ is in it
