  • Eh, not really. We have only very recently cracked the code to getting him to eat any veggies aside from cucumber. Before that he would usually just eat meat, fish, potatoes and rice. Anything green would lead to drama. We showed him Popeye and how the spinach made him strong. Now, anytime he eats his veg he gets to “pick me up” and throw me on the couch. It’s been three weeks and he still likes doing it so, fingers crossed! 😄

  • How old is yours? Mine is nearly 4 and has figured it out. It helped that, when we went on vacation, the supermarket sold complete chicken with the head and feet still attached, and cow tongues and pork feet and things. We even pointed out a pig brain for him to look at. It also may have helped that is favourite food is snails, mussles, squid and small fish with their heads attached (fried anchovies, he calls them eye fishies). All pretty recognisable on a plate!

  • Same for me! I just unlocked the cargo dispatcher and the tier 2 building mats to build them, so I wiped my entire spaghetti factory and I’m rebuilding in a nice bus layout, transporting in the remote ores using the dispatchers. I like that there’s more combat in the game. I was a tad disappointed that, when I entered a cave for the first time carrying a lot of guns and ammo, I only found some plants and crystals. I was prepping for a big fight with bugs hiding from the rupture! 😄

  • Depends on the game. I play Jump Space that occasionally does this (not all buttons, but some). It is to ensure that you deal with enough enemies so they won’t interrupt you while holding/charging the button. If you’re interrupted, you need to start over. It ensures you don’t simply sprint past everything while hitting the buttons.

  • Someone on Lemmy gifted me “Beyond the Edge of Owlsgard”, an old school point & click adventure. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. The voice acting is great!

I’m also almost half way through “Black Mesa” a.k.a. the Half-life 1 fan remaster. It’s pretty good, but a bit unintuitive at times.

There’s also a not-patient game I’m playing: “StarRupture” released in early access a few days ago. It’s made by the developers of “Green Hell” which I really liked. It’s like Satisfactory with much more combat and base defense. I’m only a few hours in bur so far I like it!
