Bei modernem Tetris bleibt das aktuelle Tetromino eine Weile aktiv bevor es beim Aufsetzen gesperrt wird, mit Rotationen kann man das ganze zusätzlich herauszögern.
Ergo, kann es durchaus sinnvoll sein das Quadrat zu drehen um so Zeit zu gewinnen das Teil noch weiter bewegen zu können oder sich den nächsten Zug zu überlegen.
