Not really. It’s been lies the whole time. I can (and have) sit a religious cultist down and show them how their cult shoehorned themselves into stories/traditions they had nothing to do with, and it’ll be pointless. They’ve been driven insane by their cult, and that is that.

The entire military doctrine of the Nordic countries is based on defending itself from an overwhelming force it could not realistically win against. The idea is to make an attack extremely costly for the enemy. Like the U.S in Vietnam, or Russia in Finland.
