Guys are probably just as socially awkward as you. Maybe get in situations where you can have conversations with a group containing guys. They’ll soon pick up you’re an adult from how you talk, and you can see if you like each other as people, not just on looks.

Nirvana… And I say that as a pretty big fan of them. I have no idea how they became the biggest band in the world. They were really really good, but I’m surprised by how much commercial success they had.

There weren’t a lot of radio friendly songs. Nobody knew what the lyrics were. For all the bands that try so hard to be commercially successful, Nirvana didn’t try much at all and still succeeded.

There are lots of examples of mass murder without religion. Many communist regimes that were anti religion but killed millions. The matter of religion seems orthogonal.

This is so crazy. I still don’t understand how people can have such little regard for their future selves.

I know a bunch of Muslims and they’re some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I think there are good and bad people in every religion, and you can’t paint them all with the same brush.
