Unlikely. If they wanted revenge, why wouldn’t they arrest people at the restaurant from which they were booed?

How is he wrong?
What images can I make in Grok that can’t be done with Gemini or GPT?
They have lots of snobbish gatekeeping still, it just exists at a higher level. Entry level knowledge is abundant. But once you seek a community with more specialized expertise, the IRC channels will be private and have passwords, and you better have contributed something to a novel exploit or something…

I can see deepfake porn on Google’s own search engine app too. They’d sooner change their policy than remove their search engine.

US police forces kill far more people than the overall homicide rate in Europe
How are you calculating this? Doesn’t seem right.
2024 was the worst year with 1,365 police killings in the US. That’s around 4 people for every million. Per capita this is a rate 8x that of France which I believe has the most police killings in Europe.
General European homicide rates vary on countries from 5 (Swiss) to 42 (Latvian) per million. It’s higher than the rate of police killings in the US.
However, the general homicide rate in the US is like 6x the European rate.
I only briefly checked the numbers, I hope I didn’t get anything wrong.

Every case people cite are civil lawsuits for excessive force. And people usually don’t prevail, especially when an officer is actually in the process of being assaulted.
At most, her family could get a settlement for damages for excessive force. But criminal charges are what would be pretty unprecedented.

This is like the Ashli Babbitt case. Half the country thinks she’s a domestic terrorist and law enforcement killed her in the act of putting people in danger.
At most, her family will get a civil settlement. Everyone knows it.

What factors forced you to support double prosecution now? Because charges are against someone you don’t like?

Chauvin wasn’t assaulted with what’s legally considered a dangerous weapon. So this case would be much harder. Unprecedented, really.

So police are never supposed to shoot at cars trying to run them over because the car would keep driving for a bit anyways? Good luck in court with that one…

Her car wheels drove directly over the ground where he was. He was literally hit as he got out of the way. He would’ve been seriously injured if he didn’t move.

They’re pretty close. They wouldn’t care if Democrats rioted at the capitol at this very moment. Just like they didn’t care when Obama was mass deporting people, or when he pardoned someone who literally BOMBED the capitol building, or when he bombed foreign countries without Congressional approval, or when groups like Codepink storm Congressional meetings in the capitol, etc. No calls of Nazism, gestapo, treason, insurrection, impeachment, prison, or anything…
Jan 6th was bad because it wasn’t done in favor of their guy, who is much like the current guy.
Something helps people cope with tragedies of life.
“What a predator!”
Yeah, like how medical professionals enrich themselves from the ill. Vermin!
Amazes me what counts as profound comments here.

Mangione kills person “responsible” for deaths of thousands.
“True hero!”
USA attacks nations “responsible” for deaths of thousands.
“TERRORISM!”
So predictable, it’s boring.

She would’ve gotten the Nobel Peace Prize like Obama.
You’re truly a lost cause here. Won’t be engaging any further with this disengenous argument.
No, the “all lives matter” comparison seems spot on. No problem is unique to men or women or people of color. Yet some problems are clearly worse for those groups.
You’re acting like I’m saying women are universally believed and supported. In reality, it’s just much better for them, even if not perfect.
Ironic that you would claim I’m saying “all lives matter” in some way.
I pointed out something that is much more a problem for men than women, then you lament about how it’s also a problem for women. That is textbook “all lives matter” rhetoric.
Or are you claiming that women DON’T get more support when it comes to SA?
You mean the sex trafficker who went to prison for exactly that?
I wish the guy who assaulted me went to prison for it… or anything, really. Instead, when I reported it, they just took photos of my extensive bruising and lacerations on my neck from strangulation, “lost” the clothes with DNA I gave them, and did nothing to the man. They asked me multiple times if I was gay, as if they didn’t believe I wasn’t (as if that’d even matter).
I had to file a federal lawsuit myself since no lawyers care, and men don’t have the same organizational or social support. I’m alone in this, currently in the federal court of appeals retrying to reverse a summary judgment.
“But women have that problem too!” is literally an “All lives matter” take, is it not?
Not at all. I just think women have fewer issues, or less severe ones in Western societies. Could be a “grass is greener” situation, but that’s just my opinion. I can think of very few reasons to not prefer being a woman.
Wow great reporting. Didn’t contact the restaurant or anything. Just writing about videos people post on social media.
