My battery cover it taped shut… because I broke the little latch that holds in it.

Yeah. My Dad had to do that with his, cause we kept snapping the latches off by accident as kids haha
Have lost the cover so we took the cover from an other remote that has the same cover but we don’t use that remote, lost that one too, now we have taped the battery in place and need to replace the tape regularly…
