    Eh this is a back and fourth argument with each side studying and refuting the other, I don’t think there’s ever going to be a consensus.

    Personally I’ve always thought the both model was the most likely, stressors from climate mixed with arrival of humans proving too much.

    here’s another interesting article about mammoths possibly still walking around on mainland North America as recently as 5000 years ago… that study uses free DNA in frozen soil to determine what kind of creatures were still walking around…
