What did I miss?
Not much. Just that lemmy[.]world instance was hacked
Someone pulled off a js injection attack, where they put javascript into some comments or messages that would get executed by others seeing it in the web interface. The js sent the session cookies to the attackers, who got some admin sessions that way and took over lemmy.world for a bit. Given they only got the logged in session on the webinterface the damage was likely contained (i.e. no data stolen for example)

Do people still use Netflix? I鈥檝e been using Pluto and Roku almost exclusively for like the last year and I don鈥檛 miss Netflix at all. They have commercials but they鈥檙e free.
I am at the point in my life where I will gladly pay $15 (or whatever) to not watch commercials. I just got back from vacation where we watched some cable TV in our hotel room and the amount of commercials that were targeted towards senior citizens astounded me.
Pretty accurate I must say, considering I鈥檓 away from my city because of work this weekend.
