Russia is supplying Iran with Shahed drones to use against the U.S. and Israel, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy told CNN in an interview excerpt aired on Saturday.
Zelenskiy told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria that it is “100% facts” that Iran has used Russian-made Shaheds to attack U.S. bases.
Iran pioneered the Shahed drone, a much cheaper alternative to expensive missiles. They first saw mass use in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, where thousands of them have been launched by Russian forces since fall 2022, according to the Ukrainians.
Reportedly there are American parts in the Russian version of the Shahed drones. Now they are being used on Americans. Very shameful.

If Trump was not an incompetent moron then I’d say perhaps there is something to the idea that he’s a Russian plant, but he is so this all probably just due to his inability to forecast the consequences of his actions.
Trump’s incompetence does not preclude him from being a Russian asset. His buttons are easy to press if you can get access to him.
A defeated (likely failed state) Iran would be bad for Russia, so Russia helps. A resisting Iran also means higher oil revenues for Russia, so Russia helps. There’s more reasons but these are probably enough.
It also kills American troops, which I’m sure Russia is happy for and honestly receiving an excellent deal for their investment.

Not really, considering the US could help Ukraine massively and refuses to do so. And meanwhile Russia is unable to do much more than send a bit of intel and some drones.

Zelenski standing up for the aggressor and making Ukraine a target of Iran just to please Israel is the real story no liberal is willing to discuss.
