I’ve been on pixelfed.social for a couple years now but, as you’ll see if you follow the link, I use it primarily for art.

While .social has been fine, I recently realized there is a pixelfed.art instance & I would love to be part of a community that is focused on art rather than general photos.

My understanding of Federation is that I should be able to migrate my .social account over to .art, so I submitted a request with a link to my .social & verified my email. Two weeks later I have not heard back. Not even a rejection email.

So I don’t know if they just don’t like me, or don’t like my art, or I did something wrong, or I’m just not cool enough to hang with the In crowd, i have no idea!

I think I’m just out of luck, right? Maybe I need to wait another month?

I’m used to ghosting from Dating app matches, but this feels bad, ngl.
