Diet Coke doesn’t react more strongly with Mentos. It’s just easier to clean up afterwards because the lack of sugar makes it less sticky.Oops, guess I was wrong!
Diet Coke dosnt have sugar, which makes liquid thicker. Lower viscosity = CO₂ escapes faster. It also contains aspartame and potassium benzoate, which slightly lower surface tension and help bubbles form.
