    Crypt of the Moon Spider is great (the sequel less so, imo), but I wouldn’t have thought of it as psychedelic horror. I mean, I guess? Idk.

    My choice would have been Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer, but maybe that’s too obvious a pick.
