Has anyone ever tried make the game into real life?
While I hate Capitalism & seems to be all about Capitalism, I think it would be a great new product to hit the games market.

Personally, I’d love to know how domjot is supposed to work. It looks kinda like billiards, but sci-fi.

Tongo is the… Poker+Monopoly kinda game (I guess? IDK how else to describe it lol) Quark plays in the bar after hours.
Dabo is the table game that looks like it’s basicslly just roulette.
There was one episode where some aliens have come to the station and start a game with Quark and thr game pieces end up being other crew members.
Domjot wasn’t shown on DS9, at least not that I remember. It’s shown in TNG, while Picard is reliving some memories of his life. One of which was the time he got stabbed in the heart by a Nausican, who was playing the game.
TNG, and Voyager, have also had other games shown off in the universe. The weird drug one that Wesley saves everyone from; the crazy strategy game Data plays against some well known game master; something that reminds me of Connect Four; and a few others.

The DS9 episode you’re missing is called “Move Along Home.” Not the greatest, but the ending is hilarious.
After using Youtube to try to watch the episode, I found-out I had watched the episode.
I will have too look for it, but I think YouTube is only way to watch On Demand style? The only one-channel broadcasting the series & in order only.
Tongo? I’m not sure you see enough of the game to actually get an idea of the rule set but I’d be happy to be wrong.
That is the name, I was watching a repeat of ‘Deep Space 9’ that was partly about the game. I guess you could be right, but then that opens it up for someone to fill in the gaps/be creative!
I think all you really learn about it is that money goes into a pot, there are cards, and it uses the words “evade”, “retreat”, and “confront”; the last of which seems to end the hand?
