Actually he did. All the budgets he proposed wanted to increase taxes on the rich. After he lost the midterms, he never had a majority. The US Congress rejected most of his budgets.

Yea, I wholly agree Obama was absolute shit from a leftist perspective. I’ll give him credit for passing a Republican healthcare plan from the 90’s, but … he’s still effectively a conservative politician. Obama is not a left winger. He’s a Democrat. He ruled like a Democrat. He wasn’t a good leftist.

Most of the American populous is in that camp of not understanding basic civics or the mechanisms of politics. If there were more leftist voices online maybe more people would be informed, but the right has infiltrated every niche and every community, lotta work to do.
