    That’s a nice collection of plants!

    We’ve started avacado pits a few times. Ours tend to be less tall when they start putting out leaves, I wonder why that is.

    None of our avacado starts ever seem to last that long. They have to stay in pots due to our climate and either seem to do really well and get too big too fast or never do well and just look sad.

      End goal is an avocado tree, that eventually (the rule of thumb is seven years) fruits.

      You also need several trees to have them pollinate.

        They don’t do well outside here, winter is a bit harsh, so I bring them indoors in winter. About 200km north (or so) of here is perfect climate for them, people just have these huge avo trees in their gardens.

      They were hanging in water until germination, I just replanted them into soil yesterday.
