It’s a clickbait title, it should be Estonia instead of NATO. The only NATO official cited in the article is its Dutch Secretary General, Mark Rutte:

[Russia has] brought war back to Europe, and we must be prepared for the scale of war our grandparents and great grandparents endured.

Maybe I’m overreacting, but he’s speaking for our[1] fascist grandparents or the human beings?
