    Paraphrasing Katter’s excuse for threatening a journalist with violence:

    I have had to fight my whole life, my parents had to fight, my grandparents had to fight to be accepted as Australian’s

    So basically what Katter said is that punching racists and fascists in the mouth is an acceptable way of dealing with racists and fascists. Not that the journalist was being racist because Katter blew up so he couldn’t be asked why he is a hypocrite.
