      I suspect Lemmy’s user base is such that small community’s posts sometimes make it to all/hot for a few minutes, and so down votes come in from uninterested users

    I read your linked article and didn’t see any problem with it. I can only imagine it hit the main feed (where I found this community and your article) and someone was wanting/expecting pragmatic guidance instead of a discussion on systems theory.

    Huh… First time something here has had more down than up votes. I’d be interested to know why
