Churches aren't tax free because they preach things, that's never been the case and I know you know it. Churches are tax free because they are charities, and enjoy the tax benefits offered to all such organizations. You want to prevent churches, despite being the oldest and most established charity bodies on U.S. soil (some predating the founding of our current government) and literally being the template for every other form of social program, from enjoying the same programs that are used by the secular services built in their imitation?
