    I’d say we’re far from close in Sweden. The uptick in SD voters is very concerning, and the rest of the right is pretty trash as well. But it’s at least pretty likely the left gets the win this year, so let’s hope they do and start cleaning up the mess the right has created…

      i’m infinitely more worried about M and S than i am about SD, as SD seems to be busy destroying themselves through concentrated incompetence.

      M are actually competent and know how to ease in fascism by making it look perfectly normal, and i wouldn’t be surprised if S ends up turning into SS without even realizing it themselves…

        And yet they seem to increase in polls. It feels like their voters are as immune to all their shit as the republican voters are…

        i wouldn’t be surprised if S ends up turning into SS without even realizing it themselves…

        I’m not seeing this happening any time soon, I’m more worried about M following the SD playbook to try to appease their voters. The only good thing about this whole mess is that my dad and brother, that are both very much with M, are both considering voting S this year. And my dad has even been in city council (? kommunfullmäktige) for M. That might be an indication that M is going to lose quite a few voters this year.
