I’m well aware that all my memories of Ragnarok Online are pure nostalgia. Grind grind grind grind grind. My 13yo mind found peace in that, for some reason.

I’d rather set a MUD as a chatroom instead.

Hmmm, I wonder how much work it’d be to create a Quake 3 or UT2004 map that’s essentially “VR Chat, minus VR”

Search whatever you’re looking for with yandex.com - they don’t block pirate sites. Be sure to have uBlock Origin on your browser, you WILL need it. Direct Download (ddl) sites can often have 3+ redirects before the actual, real download link, so it’s good to save favorites when it’s only 1

For shows, animes and movies, you’re better off finding streaming sites, which you can find above.

Lastly, telegram. Yes, the app. You can find several channels/groups that share stuff. I follow a couple that share IT/Gaming/Animation related courses. You can find series, animes and other stuff, too.

This. I live in Brazil, I torrent often and have never received any letter from my ISP or anyone. Close to 20 years now surfing the p2p waves.

Going from “only imperialist” to “imperialist nazi” doesn’t seem like a big difference. UK and France weren’t exactly known for thinking the natives of their colonies were humans.

Gotta protect whoever’s behind him with high speed steel plate to the face

As someone who didn’t have dualshock controllers back when I had the PS1, FPS games always felt awful. Most of the games had like L2/R2 for aiming up/down and L1/R1 for strafing, pretty sure Quake 2 was like that. I recall Medal of Honor had you hold R2 to fine aim with the d-pad

Yes, I alluded to that in the first comment

Happened to a number of FOSS projects. At least forking and “starting” anew is easier

I found it really odd that your server has to get a registration key from their server

Huh, I didn’t know that, maybe that’s only with the docker image? If not, that’s bad news waiting to happen, I’m afraid :/

You can buy companies, organizations and people that run FOSS projects, thus buying the project. Audacity was bought and enshitified. SimpleApps suffered a similar fate on Android.

In both cases, the community forked the last “good” version and renamed the project

Not exactly as shown in movies and series, it’s usually that the kingpins buy out cops either as protection or informants, so they get a tip before actual raids happen and either GTFO or plan something different, like leaving an idiot with a small amount of drugs to keep some heat off.

Hell, imprisoned criminals will often sway wardens with their money. It happens quite often in Brazil, with prisoners using cell phones from within their cells.

Rocket.chat would be my first recommendation, tho it looks more corporate aimed. It also claims to support Matrix federation.

You could also give Jami a try, it’s p2p so it doesn’t need servers.

It’s voice chat features are lacking, it has no video chat yet

Until some company buys it and then it has to rename again. Happened to a number of FOSS projects. At least forking and “starting” anew is easier

Wish DeltaChat would work better.

Or that Jami would properly look for new messages after a user configurable amount of time - sometimes it’ll only do that if you restart the app

You mean stoat :)

for-desktop Electron desktop wrapper for Revite

Oh for fucks’ sake

Could be it or a very close relative, they look identical
