It wasn’t that you were too dumb to notice but more that it didn’t make a difference when you found out. And I’m sure she would’ve loved that you thought her dress looked good.
I have an original model with a bad right bumper as well. I’m too cheap to buy a new one (or fix it) so I just remap that button. Honestly it’s more comfortable to play using the back buttons.
I don’t even think it’s that deep. Her body language and immediate response is what a whole lot of women are feeling right now and a whole lot of man-children are gonna start catching hands.
I’ve been following Frost on Bluesky for a while now. He’s the real deal and I’m glad he’s okay.
Jesus H Christ that was a heartbreaking read.
I see 12oz mouse and I upvote. Coincidentally my husband and I say “Now I’m a fireman” to each other quite often.
Cutting these off of dog toys is the worst. I’m always worried I’m going to miss one and hurt my dog.
When I was pretty young I got in the habit of watching the evening news with my parents. For some reason I got it in my head that when the news talked about illegal aliens that they were talking about aliens from outer space. It was embarrassing how long I believed that until my mom explained illegal aliens to me. My kid brain just couldn’t cope with calling obvious human beings aliens.
No mention of advertising in streaming services now? That was a big factor in making me shut of my subscriptions. The price increases made me cut back but the ads have made me turn them off. I'm not paying to watch commercials.
These wipes are dry. They're basically a blend between tissue and lens paper that is used for damn near everything in the lab (microscope lens, cuvettes, runny noses, etc.).
I saw Rob Zombie sometime in the early 2000's at Ozzfest. He was headlining the B stage and I didn't really have any expectations but damn that set was the best set of the day by far. That man has so much energy and you can tell he loves working the crowd.
I get where you're coming from but as a lab tech my biggest grip with MyChart is how they post lab results. I can stand the one at time value layout. Like Jesus Christ just give me the results in report form. I want to see all of them at once so I can look at the whole picture.

little buddy
Saw this nice guy/gal in front of my shed this morning when I took the dog out. The dog was completely oblivious and I was able to get a nice pic without scaring it off.
slow federation
I was curious if anyone knows anything about the large delay for content coming in from lemmy.world? There's a discussion over there in one of fediverse communities and apparently we're like a week behind in receiving data.
Tarantula mid molt
Here's another old picture from my vault. This is one of our Greenbottle blue tarantulas (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens). We spent the day watching this little guy molt from start to finish and took pictures of the whole process. You can see in this picture that he is laid out on his back on his molting malt. At this stage he has split from the carapace lengthwise down the sides and is currently pulling his legs out of the molt. We had two at the time and wanted to breed them but they both turned out to males.
Paco
Here's a pic of my favorite little guy and one the only good pictures I've ever taken. Unfortunately he turned out to be a male so I didn't have him too long but he was a great tarantula to keep.
