Conquer Cancer is a program launched in collaboration with CAPED to eliminate cervical cancer from Punjab and make it the first cervical cancer-free state in India. The program adopts a three pronged approach of Spreading awareness about prevention and early detection of cervical cancer; Holding free screening camps - Pap Smear tests - for the underprivileged and Facilitating interaction between the medical community to discuss the latest developments & research in the field. Some of the awareness initiatives include; Teal lighting in key locations across Amritsar including Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), celebrating Teal Lohri with under-privileged girls, organising Tealathon among others.
