Rollie is a side-scrolling, action platformer for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Play as Rollie the rolling raccoon to trek across 16 huge stages. Use numerous power-ups and abilities to defeat your enemies and save Paradise Gorge from ecological chaos.
One or two players. Includes 4-digit password feature for continuing.
You will have access to the 40kb .nes rom file of the game, and a .pdf file of the game's instruction manual

Install instructions
The digital version of Rollie is the game's rom file, distributed in .nes format. To play it on your home computer, you will need an NES emulator, such as FCEUXD or Mesen for PC, or Nintaco or Nestopia for Mac or Linux. You can also upload the rom file to your personally owned NES flash cart to play on your home console, such as a Power Pak of Everdrive.
Download "Rollie_NTSC.nes" if you are in the NTSC region this includes: North America, South America (not Brazil), Japan, Korea, Philippines). If you plan to play using an emulator, this version is recommended.
Download "Rollie_PAL.nes" if you plan to play the ROM on a console in a PAL region (Europe, Brazil, Africa, India, Australia, most everywhere else).
You can also download "Rollie_Instruction_Manual.pdf" to view the Rollie instruction manual.

This game is incredibly well put together.
If you enjoy sidescollers this one has all the elements of the games you loved. Rolling like Samus or Sonic, pewing like MegaMan or Bubble Bobble, Balloon Floating, Bird riding...
All of this expertly programmed into the same space as Mario? It's incredible. No slowdown, or input lag. It's the most fun I've had with the NES in ages and someone I know already summed it up better if I can steal the words from a friend "Rollie is baller, Everyone should own this."
It was available on an actual NES cart, with manual and box, something I never experienced as a kid at christmas, that was pretty cool.
