I believe FRIENDS are like cupcakes. They make us alive , they make us happy , they make you feel special as who we are , protecting us like an umbrella in every rain or shine. As it's hard to resist a dessert after a spicy meal and it becomes even more difficult to say no to our timeless vanilla and chocolate cupcakes ; they are literally the best and it's like jewel in the crown.
Likewise good friends are always hard to resist and we should learn to treasure them and the beautiful relationship till the end of the road.
"Make as many friends as you are alive" - (Nope.)
"Try to make good friends while you are alive - (Yes.)
Someone has beautifully quoted these lines - " Friendship is the start , togetherness is the end."
Pertaining to this quote let's take an example ; Ross , Rachel , Chandler , Monica , Phoebe and of course my favourite character from the cast of F.R.I.E.N.D.S - Joey . Are they just the characters of a television sitcom and if they are not then what value do they bestow?
It's the value of "TOGETHERNESS" and this is what we call as "FRIENDSHIP" . Cherish your friends while you are together , make beautiful memories every single day , coz there is no beautiful feeling to be loved , teased , cared , to learn , and to be understood from one single person .
What's so special about our F.R.I.E.N.D.S???
From planning the nightout to studying one day before the exams , from cracking silly jokes to understanding each other's dull moments , from passing on boundaries to achieving great heights in life, from fighting against each other to fighting for each other , from endless late night talks to reaching late on bus stops, from cheering each other on the sports day to making us laugh in front of whole assembly , from admiring each other to insulting them thousands of times in a day, from bunking the boring lectures to understanding concepts together , from planning Goa trips to never executing them , from packing for picnics one day before to unpacking all the memories after coming home , from sleeping in libraries to binge watching the whole night.
We share countless of such memories with our friends , and this is the beauty of friendship which never fades away . There may be highs and lows but there will never be a moment of dullness when you are with your friends.
So, stick with them like peanut butter sticks on the bread , be with them like the Joey and Chandler , hold them along like inertia holds this whole universe , love them like Ross loved Rachel (p.s: even whey they were on a break) and lastly stay true to them like the rainbow in the sky(coz it's inevitable).
