That’s horrific. I love it.
A soup.

I’ve grown oyster mushrooms from the grocery store on used coffee grounds and I mixed things with my hands in open air. Take the cakes out of the jar. Put them in your fruiting chamber (or plastic bag draped over it). The mycelium is a little plant animal and it breathes oxygen. You’ve stuffed it in an airless room with a tiny little hole. The whole body needs to be able to breathe. Not just the elbow. Oysters aren’t enoki.
The long fruiting bodies that just abort are because it’s starving for oxygen. Remove them from the glass jars and put them in a box that’s kept humid (like a plastic container). Look up “shotgun fruiting chamber”. Or you can crumble your entire cake into a bin with some coco coir (contamination resistant) and the mycelium will spread and quickly start forming hyphal nodes and then fruit properly.
You got this!
I don’t like being used or taken advantage of. Simple as. When you have a Microsoft product, you are used by Microsoft. You PAY them for their operating system and then they SPY on your computer interactions. You buy their product and then you become their product as they make money off of tailoring ads to you based on where your mouse moves, what you click on, the contents of the files that you upload to OneDrive (that they then use to train Copilot with).
Linux is a tool. It helps me interface with the computer. It doesn’t have an agenda behind it that involves exploiting me for money. Linux is built on the assumption that humans are humans and not wealth extraction batteries.
It’s crazy. I was in the hospital as a teen so I’m forever banned from ever obtaining a PAL for target sport but paranoid people who think you can obtain a gun for self defense in Canada can roam around freely fantasizing about using it against other people 🙃
It’s the Concrete Jungle Book.
The goal is to desensitize the general population into accepting thin clients instead of actual computers so that they can rent their OS as a cloud subscription.
This gives companies more control over content you consume plus your behaviours. It also gives governments more granular control over their citizens which is in vogue considering democracy is out and barbarism and force are back in.

They banned the user that did the robust cybersecurity audit. They banned everyone who pointed it out or linked to the post or mentioned it. They took the subreddit private. The clown dev has a donate feature and claims that it will be used to put his daughter through school. Just scum all around.

Stop pushing your opinion at all cost and annoy anybody that you could have won over on the way
AI is not a good or effective solution for replacing art. Talentless hacks think it’s a game changer. Its clear with your arguments that you desperately want to replace artists with slop machines that churn out garbage. Clearly it’s not well received by the majority of people. Instead of mindlessly doubling down on overhyped and under-delivering technology, go take that mental energy and use it to learn how to model. Otherwise everyone will rightfully clown on you.
Also, I just want to encourage you to actually do real research about what AI is and how it works. Your original post compared AI to the calculator and you accuse those who warn about AI use as being similar to those who warned not to use calculators. Calculators always get the right answer. They are precise. AI is not able to be precise. It doesn’t understand it’s outputs or it’s inputs. AI is in absolutely no way comparable to calculators. You highlight your ignorance with this.

101·24 days agoWhat part of this is humour? America has several death camps at the moment. People are actively disappearing from the system and can no longer be looked up. No one in the entire regime is able to locate them.
What do you personally think happened to them?

401·26 days agoIn Canada we don’t censor that sort of stuff so watching the CBC stream was funny. All applause then the couch pest showed up and the entire stadium mood changed. Americans truly don’t realize they are jokes outside of their country.
