This occurred at Ulta store salon services. I booked a Total Blonde service at the salon, only because my regular hairstylist had an injury and will be out of work for the foreseeable future. My hair was a level 8-9 blonde. It took years to get it that color. The service was described on the ulta website to include /2 inch outgrowth and toner. Thats it. I was very clear about my hair. I even asked if it was going to be brown because the toner looked so dark but she said it was all still my ultra light blonde underneath that the toner just looked like that. The stylist doing my hair also took a break to use marijuana while providing this service. It is illegal in our state.(Iowa)I have a heart condition and severe panic attacks which I did communicate with the stylist. When she took towel off to dry and I saw my hair for the first time it made me go into shock, become tachycardic, panic attack and then i briefly lost consciousness. Paramedics were called. I had to go home to get my medications and reach out to my doctors to be seen after having this episode. I am disabled and this has been one of the worst experiences in my life. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Location: Iowa
